We Visited Kijima Kogen Park!

We went on our annual field trip again this year!
Our destination was Kijima Kogen Park, a popular amusement park located in Oita Prefecture. Although the weather was cloudy, it wasn’t too hot or too cold—just perfect for spending a comfortable day outdoors.

A total of 334 people, including teachers, joined the trip this year. The meeting area in the morning was lively and full of excitement. We boarded eight buses and set off toward our destination.

As the scenery outside gradually changed during the ride, the students’ expressions grew brighter with excitement and anticipation.

We arrived at the park a little later than scheduled, but there were no major issues. Once inside, everyone eagerly ran toward the attractions they wanted to ride.

The most popular ride was, without a doubt, the wooden roller coaster Jupiter. Students waiting in line looked thrilled and nervous, eagerly anticipating their turn. After riding, some said, “It was so scary but so much fun! I’m going again!” while others came off in tears, saying, “That was terrifying!”—but everyone seemed to enjoy it in their own way.

At lunchtime, students enjoyed meals inside the park. From set meals to hamburgers and soft-serve ice cream, everything looked delicious and added to the fun of the day.

It wasn’t just about the rides—many students also took photos with the park’s buildings and plants, capturing memories of a refreshing and enjoyable day.

Everyone gathered on time for the return trip, and we finished the field trip as planned without any delays. While many students were full of energy on the way to the park, the ride home was much quieter, with many fast asleep on the bus.

For the graduating students, this was their final field trip—a memorable one, we hope. For those in the beginner class, there’s another field trip to look forward to next year.

Where will we go next time?
We can’t wait to find out!
