We interviewed students of NILS Annex about the school’s vending machines.
Question: What do you think about Japanese vending machines?
Answer: When I came to Japan from Nepal, I was very surprised. When I first saw them, I wondered why there were so many vending machines. I also had some trouble figuring out how to use them at first, but now I’m used to them.
Question: What do you find convenient about the vending machines at NILS Annex?
Answer: The fact that they’re inside the school building. I can buy juice without getting wet in the rain. They’re close to the classrooms, so it’s easy to get something even during breaks. Also, it’s convenient that I can pay with electronic money instead of cash. Apparently, the teachers asked the vending machine company to add the electronic payment feature. Thank you, teachers!
Question: What is the most popular drink?
Answer: Energy drinks are popular. Everyone is tired from part-time jobs and studying, so energy-boosting drinks are the most sought after. However, since they’re not healthy, we limit ourselves to two a day. In the summer, I worry that water might sell out, but the teachers at NILS Annex make sure that doesn’t happen. Thank you, teachers!

As you can see, NILS Annex cares about everyone’s health. Let’s study together at NILS Annex with these teacher-like family members.
