Today's Phrase

Presentation Day

 

Last week, senior students had presentations both at Ogori and Kasuga campuses.

They spent the last several weeks preparing for this activity. They picked topics of their interest, searched for information on Internet of from other sources, and wrote their script in Japanese.

 

In Ogori campus, student made a poster that looks just like an information map. They created the map using multiple colors and images resulting in a beautiful and comprehensive product.

 

In Kasuga campus, they came up with another medium: Kamishibai (紙芝居) [storytelling using illustrated boards]. The students created the boards themselves and told stories using them.

 

For the senior students, this was a good opportunity to showcase their progress in their Japanese proficiency. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a large audience because of the Covid related precaution, but their classmates and teachers had a great time. We were really impressed by both groups.
