Interviewer

How is your study at NILS so far?

David Riat

It's going well. Kanji is very complicated and difficult, but interesting. I am interested in the way of Kanji writing.

Interviewer

What do you think about your teachers?

David Riat

Teachers are good. Each one has different personality. Some are strict, some are not. Some are slow, some are fast. We learn grammar, conversation, Kanji, and so on.

Interviewer

Have you joined any activities?

David Riat

Yes, I joined an international friendship party and an excursion to Kumamoto. The party was good. I tried to use Japanese. Kumamoto castle was very impressive. I visited Osaka and Himeji castles which are bigger than Kumamoto one, but each one is different. That makes it interesting.

What do you do when you're off?
