Student's Interview

Interviewer
How is your study at NILS so far?
David Riat
It's going well. Kanji is very complicated and difficult, but interesting. I am interested in the way of Kanji writing.
Interviewer
What do you think about your teachers?
David Riat
Teachers are good. Each one has different personality. Some are strict, some are not. Some are slow, some are fast. We learn grammar, conversation, Kanji, and so on.
Interviewer
Have you joined any activities?
David Riat
Yes, I joined an international friendship party and an excursion to Kumamoto. The party was good. I tried to use Japanese. Kumamoto castle was very impressive. I visited Osaka and Himeji castles which are bigger than Kumamoto one, but each one is different. That makes it interesting.
Interviewer
What do you do when you're off?
David Riat
I have some Japanese friends in Fukuoka city. I often meet them. We exchange languages each other. I like exploring, so I go shopping and do sightseeing in Fukuoka city.
Interviewer
Do you have any plans after your graduation?
David Riat
Not yet. But I might be studying Chinese or Korean language. I'm interested in language very much.
Interviewer
Would you like to say something to your friends in your country?
David Riat
Well, if you would like to come to Japan for studying, you should well prepare for it.
If you are planning to visit here as a tourist, I'm sure you discover so many interesting things! Japanese people are very friendly.
